Estevao Willian Reveals Shirt Number Choice and Thiago Silva’s Encouragement Ahead of Chelsea Move
Chelsea’s incoming Brazilian sensation, Estevao Willian, has given fans a glimpse of his aspirations as he prepares to join the Blues in July 2025.
The 17-year-old forward, who has enjoyed a stellar breakout season with Palmeiras, shared insights into his preferred shirt number and a supportive interaction with Chelsea legend Thiago Silva.

In an interview with ESPN Brasil, Estevao revealed his openness to wearing the number 41, the same number he has donned at Palmeiras.

While his initial selection of the number was due to a lack of seniority within his current squad, Estevao admitted he has grown fond of it:
“I don’t have [a preference], but I really like 41. If I have 41, that would be cool too.”
Interestingly, no Chelsea player currently occupies this number, making it a viable option for the young star upon his arrival.
