Centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo joined Chelsea ahead of the 2024/25 season

 

Centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo joined Chelsea ahead of the 2024/25 season, signing a four-year contract after a successful spell with west London rivals Fulham.

Born in London but raised in Manchester, Tosin began his career at Manchester City at the age of five, progressing through their youth ranks. By 16, he was regularly captaining City’s Under-18s team. His first-team debut came in February 2016 at Stamford Bridge during an FA Cup match, and he made a further seven appearances for City over the next two seasons.

Tosin had loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Championship before making a permanent move to Fulham in October 2020. His debut Premier League season with Fulham saw him make 33 appearances, earning praise for his adaptation to top-flight football. He followed that with another solid campaign, playing 44 matches and playing a key role in Fulham’s promotion from the Championship.

Adarabioyo continued to impress in the Premier League, making 45 appearances for Fulham over the following two seasons, helping them finish 10th and 13th. His performances at Fulham led to a move to Chelsea in 2024.

At Chelsea, Tosin made his debut as a starter in the UEFA Conference League against Servette. He made his Premier League debut for Chelsea as a substitute in a win at Bournemouth, before starting and contributing to another clean sheet in a victory over West Ham.
